StacoGate collects only the information reasonably needed to operate merchant accounts, process supported payment flows, provide payouts, meet security and compliance requirements, and support users.
1. Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information processed through StacoGate's public website, merchant dashboard, hosted checkout, Payment Links, WooCommerce integration, support channels, verification workflows and related services.
It does not govern independent websites, wallets, banks, blockchain networks or third-party services that may have their own privacy policies.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use StacoGate, we may collect:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, login details and account status.
- Business information, such as business name, website, business type, expected activity and merchant profile information.
- Verification information, including identity or business documents and information submitted during KYC or compliance review.
- Payment information, such as payment references, amounts, currencies, supported asset/network information, transaction hashes and payment status.
- Payout information, such as wallet destinations, bank payout details, payout references and status.
- Support information, including messages and information you provide when contacting StacoGate.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser/device information, request logs, timestamps and security-related events.
3. How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- create, operate and secure StacoGate accounts;
- provide hosted checkout, Payment Links, integrations and merchant features;
- process payment status updates, balances, withdrawals and payouts;
- verify identity or business information where required;
- detect fraud, abuse, account compromise or suspicious activity;
- provide customer support and communicate service-related information;
- maintain, troubleshoot and improve StacoGate;
- meet legal, regulatory, tax, sanctions, recordkeeping or compliance obligations; and
- enforce our Terms and protect StacoGate, users and service providers.
4. Payment and transaction data
StacoGate may process payment-session references, order or payment-link references, quoted amounts, store currencies, selected stablecoins and networks, blockchain transaction hashes, confirmation status and related operational records.
Public blockchain transactions are recorded on the relevant blockchain and may remain publicly visible independently of StacoGate. Blockchain records are not controlled or erasable by StacoGate.
StacoGate does not need a customer's private wallet key or recovery phrase to process a payment. Users should never send private keys or recovery phrases to StacoGate.
5. Identity and business verification information
Certain StacoGate features may require identity or business verification. Information requested can include identity details, business information, supporting documents and information relating to transaction or payout activity.
Verification information is used for account review, fraud prevention, sanctions or compliance checks, risk management and other lawful purposes connected with operating the service.
Access to verification information is restricted to authorized personnel and service providers who require it for the relevant purpose.
8. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide StacoGate, maintain accurate transaction and account records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements and satisfy legal, tax, accounting or compliance obligations.
Retention periods can differ by data type. Some transaction, verification or compliance records may need to be retained after an account is closed where required by law or legitimate operational needs.
9. Security
StacoGate uses administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure.
No online system can guarantee absolute security. You are also responsible for protecting your account password, email account, API credentials, webhook secrets, wallet credentials and devices.
StacoGate will never ask you to provide a wallet private key or recovery phrase.
10. International processing
StacoGate is designed for international use. Information may be processed or stored in countries other than the country where you live or operate.
Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers and processing. The specific legal operating entity and related jurisdictional details will be updated once formally established.
11. Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, such as requesting access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection to certain processing.
These rights are not absolute. StacoGate may need to retain or continue processing some information where required for legal, security, transaction-record, fraud-prevention or compliance purposes.

12. Children
StacoGate is intended for people who are legally able to create and operate a merchant account. It is not intended for children.
If we become aware that personal information was submitted by a child in a manner prohibited by applicable law, we will take appropriate steps to address it.

StacoGate may link to blockchain explorers, merchant websites, wallets, banks, plugins or other third-party services. StacoGate is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
Review the privacy policies of third-party services before providing them with personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy when StacoGate changes, when new providers or features are added, or when legal requirements change.
